Back to school
My automatic thought when Mrs. Puglisi said we were doing a back to school theme was to take pictures of our beautiful stadium. My edit for my fifth photo was to darken the paw print to make it look new and fresh. The photos of the bleachers are my least favorite picture because it was kinda boring but I tried to stick to the black and gold colors. I could fix that by taking a more interesting photo. I like my second picture best because you can see the reflection of the "Bett" in her sunglasses.
Name/ Word Explanation
For this project, I had to walk around and find things that represented letters. I thought it would be quite easy but I thought wrong. I struggled with the "R" it didn't look like what I had in mind. My favorite part about this is that it was a challenge, it made me have to think. My weakness is that the coloring was very difficult for me to do with accuracy. I feel I could improve this by being more careful when coloring.
Watermarks
I made my watermark in photoshop and I like it. The "AW" stands for my initials, Audrey Whitaker. I choose to put the crown on the top of my "A" because I liked the way it looked. I think watermarking is a good idea because it makes sure nobody can take credit for your work. But sometimes it's annoying because when I try to use something online and it has a watermark it makes me upset.
Texture Set
This project was all about getting up close and appreciating textures. Instead of just looking past a photo the viewer really has to absorb their surroundings. I am a little unsure how I feel about the double exposer photos I took and edited. The pictures were too similar to overlay. I enhanced the contrast on the 1st and 2nd photos to show more detail my camera could not pick up. My 6th photo was a picture that was sorta fun and creative. I am pleased with my 7th photo because it was raw and abstract.
Selfies
When my teacher said we would be doing a selfie set my first initial reaction was disapproval. but once I started to take photos I realized that it's not that bad. I think my mind changed because I knew I could change whatever I wanted to. I really liked how my ghost photo turned out because it really looked like I had a twin in the photo. I didn't really like how my two faces turned out because it was a hard photo to look scary in. I found the appropriation photo was had to do, but I did learn how to overlay things and change its opacity.
Circles
For this project our teacher made us take photos of circles. She wants us to take advantage of the rounded light that was projected when it was hit. I liked this project because it really involved using your skills and being at certain angles. It was not easy to capture some angles. I found myself lying down on my hands and knees for some photos. When editing my photos I tried to use natural light as much as possible. I tend to find that natural light gives my photos this really high-quality look, it makes details pop.
I am actually very impressed with how my landscape photographs turned out. I think I captured the clouds well in the sunsets. For the two Wee Planets I created I made them look like real planets and added other planets and stars. My least favorite edit is the lake and the clouds. It wasn;t a high-quality photo to start with so I tried to enhance it, but it didn't look quite right. My favorite is the last rainbow sunset. It looks so cool and pretty.

For this project, I went to the ORA because they have a nice modern building. The sun was setting while I was taking photos and it gave me the perfect lighting. I tried to capture the hard angles on the edges of the building. My favorite photo was my first edit because I gave it a spooky Halloween feel.

For this project, we had to take pictures that represented a certain line. I had to get creative for this project, so I thought to go to the crow creek park. I went to the Correy and took tons of photos. My dog was in a few and thought she looked super cute. I was very happy the way the trees reflected off the water. My least favorite photograph is the circle lines because it didn't look that good inverted.
